The LIT Experience
The Leaders in Training (LIT) Program at Tamarack Day Camp is designed for 10th graders, ages 16–17, who are ready to take the next step from camper to counselor. This program helps teens build real-world leadership and teamwork skills through hands-on learning and guided responsibilities. This program blends outdoor adventure with leadership development, giving participants the opportunity to practice teamwork, problem-solving, and personal responsibility in a real-world setting. Guided by both Tamarack and Windsor Mountain staff, teens learn how to lead and collaborate effectively while taking part in hiking, camping, and group challenges.
