This program helps teens build the foundation needed to eventually become successful counselors and role models — at camp and in life.

Participants focus on developing key skills including:

  • Leadership – Leading group activities, guiding younger campers, and managing responsibility.

  • Teamwork – Collaborating with staff and peers to support the camp environment.

  • Problem-Solving – Learning to adapt and respond to real-world situations as they arise.

  • Communication – Practicing clear, respectful, and effective ways to lead and support others.

Located near Florham Park, NJ, our LIT program is a hands-on experience that bridges the transition between camper and counselor. Teens leave with practical tools they can apply in future jobs, school leadership roles, and community involvement.
