Summer camp for 7th-8th & 9th graders 13-14-15 year olds near Rockaway Borough
Tamarack Day Camp’s Teen Travel Program is designed for 13 to 15-year-olds who are ready for more independence while still enjoying the structure of camp. Open to 7th, 8th, and 9th graders near Rockaway Borough, NJ, the program combines regular camp days with off-site day trips.
On camp days, teens follow a group schedule led by Tamarack counselors. Activities may include free swim, ropes courses, sports, creative projects, and other group-based programs. This balance gives teens the chance to stay active, build friendships, try new experiences, and enjoy a summer program that feels age-appropriate.

Tamarack Day Camp’s trained Teen Staff supervises campers in public spaces, keeps the group together, and understands how to support 7th, 8th, and 9th graders as they build independence during the summer.
