Each morning, campers participate in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified instructors, with support from group counselors. With over 25 years of experience and training that meets American Red Cross standards, our instructors use proven techniques to help campers improve. In the afternoons, swimmers enjoy free swim time, giving them more opportunity to practice their skills and have fun in the water.
Ropes Courses
Tamarack Day Camp offers an exciting ropes course experience for kids ages 8-10 near Cedar Grove, NJ. Our Confidence Course, set 5 feet above the ground, introduces campers to belaying techniques while navigating elements similar to our High Ropes Course. The course includes a 200-foot Zipline, Horizontal and Vertical Climbing Walls, and a Giant Swing, providing an adventure that challenges and thrills young campers.
