Our Munchkin Division boasts the smallest camper-to-staff ratio, providing highly personalized care. Each group consists of 10 to 12 campers with three to four dedicated staff members, ensuring attentive supervision and engagement.

Each Munchkin group participates in our annual Dance and Drama Production, held locally during the sixth week of camp. This event, complete with professional sound and lighting, allows our young campers to showcase their talents, providing a memorable evening for performers and their families.
Low Ropes and Confidence Course

Our low ropes course, including a new Mini-Zipline, focuses on fun while developing gross motor skills and building confidence. These courses are set just inches above the ground, ideal for little adventurers to climb, explore, and swing safely.
We also feature the Tamarack Confidence Course, a beginner-friendly version of our high ropes course that’s elevated five feet off the ground. This allows young campers to experience elements of a high ropes course under the careful supervision of our expert instructors.

Learn to Swim
Tamarack Day Camp, located near Verona, offers specialized swimming lessons for children aged 3 to 5 in a safe and nurturing environment. Our Aquatic Facility features a shallow, heated pool designed to accommodate the youngest campers comfortably, enabling them to progress quickly in their swimming skills.
Each morning, our certified swim instructors, along with group counselors, conduct 40-minute swim lessons focused on enhancing your child’s confidence and abilities in the water. In the afternoons, campers have 40 minutes of free swim time, allowing them to interact with their peers and enjoy a relaxed, fun swimming experience.
