Low Ropes and Confidence Course

Our Munchkin campers, ages 3 to 5, love our low ropes course, where they can climb, swing, and explore just inches off the ground. These activities help develop important gross motor skills while building confidence for future challenges. To make things even more exciting, we’ve added a Mini-Zipline, giving our youngest adventurers a thrilling new way to have fun!
We also offer the Tamarack Confidence Course, a scaled-down version of our high ropes course, set just 5 feet off the ground. This course allows our young campers to experience key elements of the ropes course in a safe, close-to-the-ground environment. Led by our certified ropes instructors, the course helps build confidence while ensuring safety every step of the way.

Learn to Swim
At Tamarack Day Camp, we are dedicated to teaching young children how to swim in a safe and supportive environment. Located near Cedar Grove, NJ, our camp is an excellent choice for parents who want their 3 to 5-year-olds to gain confidence in the water.
Our Aquatic Facility features a shallow, heated pool, perfect for beginners. Each morning, certified swim instructors, along with group counselors, lead 40-minute swim lessons designed to help children build essential water skills. In the afternoon, campers enjoy 40 minutes of free swim, where they can interact with friends and counselors while continuing to develop their swimming abilities.
