We also kickstart their cycling journey through our Learn to Bike Program, preparing them for the exhilarating Mountain Biking program ahead. Explorer Athletics
Explorer Athletics is a favorite among 6-8-year-olds in Randolph and its nearby areas. Our camp offers a unique approach to traditional sports, tailored specifically for younger participants. Using scaled-down fields and courts along with age-appropriate equipment, we ensure that every child experiences success while grasping the fundamentals of various games.
At Explorer, we introduce our campers to Pickleball and Lacrosse alongside other traditional sports. Our Athletic Specialists are adept at not only teaching new skills but also creating an engaging environment where these skills are put into practice through exciting games. Moreover, our Tamarack counselors actively participate in all activities, working alongside campers to ensure they experience moments of triumph and learning in every session.
Creative Arts

Every week, young campers delve into activities like Ceramics, Mad Science, Cooking, Drama, Nature exploration, Dance, Digital Photography, Jewelry Making, and much more.
Excitement peaks as our Explorer Girl groups showcase their talents in an annual Dance and Drama Production – an extravaganza not to be missed! This spectacular event, complete with professional sound and lighting, takes center stage at a local venue during the 6th week of camp. Learn to Swim
Tamarack’s Learn-to-Swim Program stands as a highlight of our camp experience, especially beloved by children aged 6-8 residing near Randolph. Our aquatic facility is top-tier, boasting a remarkable 12,000 square foot pool, allowing our young Explorers to thrive. With water depths ranging from a shallow 1 foot to 6 feet, we provide a safe and progressive environment for swimmers to advance their skills.
Each morning, our certified swim instructors, supported by group counselors, lead engaging 40-minute swim lessons tailored to individual skill levels rather than age. This approach ensures that every child is appropriately challenged and nurtured in their swimming journey. Moreover, our afternoon sessions offer free swim time for all groups, fostering confidence and practice in the water.
We take pride in our teaching methodology, which draws from both American Red Cross standards and over 25 years of hands-on experience in successfully guiding children toward swimming proficiency. Additionally, we annually train and cultivate our instructors, ensuring they’re equipped with the best techniques to help children embrace the joy and skill of swimming.
